Complete your onboarding and profile
Updated August 14, 2026
You need an approved application and the onboarding link sent by Motivo. In-house supervisors invited by an employer follow a shorter account setup flow and may not see every step below.
Complete each step
Onboarding saves your progress as you move through the required sections.
- Open the onboarding link from your email and sign in or create your Motivo account.
- Complete Qualifications with the requested license, credential, experience, resume, and insurance information.
- Complete Opportunities with the session formats and supervision work you are prepared to provide.
- Complete Availability by adding at least one recurring working-hours block.
- Complete Agreements and sign every document shown in the embedded signing window.
- Complete Profile with a profile picture, professional summary, specialties, approaches, and other public information.
- Complete Impact survey.
- Complete Payment by selecting Fill out payment info and finishing the Stripe-hosted setup.
- Return to Motivo. Once Stripe shows as verified, select Finish onboarding.
Check your profile before finishing
Write your profile for supervisees who are deciding whether to schedule an intro call. Keep license details, specialties, populations, modalities, session formats, location, and availability accurate. Use Preview public profile later under Settings > Profile to review how the page appears.
Your weekly availability and current capacity are separate. Working hours control which times can be offered, while your capacity setting controls whether you are open to new supervision relationships.
If you cannot continue
A disabled Continue button usually means a required field or agreement is incomplete. Review the current step for an error message and confirm that requested files finished uploading.
On the payment step, Finish onboarding appears only after Stripe confirms the connected account. If you leave Stripe before completing its required fields, select Fill out payment info again to resume.
Completing onboarding submits your information for review. It does not make your profile visible in the directory immediately.
