Set your weekly availability

Updated August 14, 2026

You must be signed in as a supervisor. Both independent and in-house supervisors can set recurring working hours.

Add your working hours

Your weekly hours are the starting point for times Motivo can offer for intro calls and sessions.

  1. Select Settings > Calendar.
  2. Scroll to Set your working hours.
  3. Turn on each day when you are available.
  4. Enter a start and end time for that day. Add another time block when you need a break between periods.
  5. Review the time zone shown by your account. To change it, use Settings > General.
  6. Select Save changes.

You must keep at least one availability block. If every day is empty, Motivo asks you to select a time before saving.

How available times are calculated

Weekly hours do not guarantee that every time inside a block can be booked. Motivo excludes times occupied by existing intro calls and sessions. If you connect Google or Outlook calendars and select calendars under Check conflicts, Motivo excludes busy times from those calendars too.

Your Minimum notice and Buffer time settings can further reduce the times offered. These controls are on the same Calendar page.

Changes and existing bookings

Changing weekly hours affects future availability searches. It does not move or cancel sessions and intro calls that are already scheduled.

Working hours are also separate from your current capacity. You can have broad weekly hours while choosing No bandwidth, which hides your public profile. You can also have a public profile with very limited weekly hours. Keep both settings current so supervisees see a useful booking schedule.

Motivo may email you periodically to review your availability. Open Settings > Calendar, confirm the hours are still accurate, and select Save changes even when only a small adjustment is needed.
