Reconnect or troubleshoot a calendar
Updated August 14, 2026
You must be signed in as a supervisor. To reconnect, you also need access to the Google or Microsoft account originally linked to Motivo.
Reconnect a disconnected account
A disconnected account cannot add events or block busy times until access is restored.
- Open Settings > Calendar.
- In the disconnection alert, select Reconnect calendar. You may also see Reconnect on the provider card.
- Sign in to the correct Google or Microsoft account.
- Approve the requested calendar access.
- Confirm a calendar is selected under Add events and the right calendars are selected under Check conflicts.
- Select Save changes.
If you do not want to reconnect, select Keep it disconnected and maintain Set your working hours manually. You can also select Disconnect on an active provider card.
If an event is missing
Only bookings created after the connection was established are added to the external calendar. An older session will not appear there automatically.
Confirm that the intended calendar is selected under Add events. If the event exists in Motivo but not on the calendar, reconnect the provider and review the selection. Do not create a second Motivo session to compensate for a missing external event.
Remember that edits flow from Motivo to the external calendar. Moving or deleting an event in Google or Outlook does not reschedule or cancel it in Motivo.
If busy time is not being blocked
Open Check conflicts and confirm the calendar containing the busy event is selected. A newly created provider calendar is not necessarily selected automatically.
If a calendar was deleted or its sharing access changed at the provider, it may disappear from Motivo. Choose an available calendar or restore access with the provider, then reconnect.
If repeated reconnection attempts succeed but events or conflicts still do not update, contact support@motivohealth.com with the provider name, calendar name, and approximate time of the affected event.
