Understand supervisee account statuses
Updated August 14, 2026
Who can see these statuses
You need access to Supervisees. The tabs and rows you see depend on your role, assigned programs, and your organization's supervision setup.
Supervisee tabs
Use the tabs to focus on different parts of your team:
- All shows supervisees currently connected to your organization.
- Awaiting match shows supervisees who still need an active supervisor. This is an exact portal label; it means the supervision relationship is not active yet.
- Inactive shows supervisees whose organization or supervision activity is no longer current.
- Removed shows people no longer connected to the organization and preserves access to their past information when your role allows it.
- Pending appears for some organizations and covers people who have not completed the required setup or approval step.
Your organization may show the tabs in a different order or omit tabs that do not apply.
Relationship messages
A supervisee without an active supervisor may show Pending on [supervisor] while the supervisor reviews the connection. Declined by [supervisor] means that supervisor did not accept it, so another supervision path is needed. Approved by supervisor means the supervisor accepted.
These messages describe the supervision step, not whether the supervisee can sign in. A team member marked (pending) on Settings and Team is an employer portal user who has not set a password, which is a different kind of pending access.
Scheduled and completed removals
Scheduled for removal on indicates a future end date. You can use Cancel scheduled removal before that date. After removal, use the Removed tab to review the person or select Reactivate when your role permits it.
